Hao Ren was a typical young man from a small city who was barely making ends meet while living in an old house. However, via a strange turn of events, he becomes a "universe police officer." A problem is developing in his domain, the Dream Plane Universe, as he struggles to oversee a home inhabited by strange, non-human residents that his enigmatic superiors have assigned him. As he investigates further, Hao Ren discovers a link between the remnants of a vanished civilization in the Dream Plane and the strange species on Earth. Hao Ren quickly learns that slacking off is no longer an option when long-buried horrors, fallen deities, and ancient cataclysms reappear.
